Associate Attorney - Medical Malpractice Defense

REMOTE
Work Arrangement: Remote/Hybrid (Most attorneys work remotely long-term; office space available for those who prefer in-person work)

About the Role:
We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join a highly respected medical malpractice defense team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior attorneys and partners on complex cases, including case strategy and trial preparation. Associates will manage smaller cases independently and collaborate on larger matters. Initial responsibilities will focus on motion practice and discovery, with significant emphasis on strong legal writing skills. This is an excellent opportunity for growth into more strategic and hands-on roles.

Compensation: $110,000 - $200,000 (commensurate with experience)
Billable Requirement: 150 hours/month (approx. 1,800 annually)

Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong legal writing and analytical skills
  • Med Mal/ Defense Expereince
  • Ability to manage cases independently and work collaboratively on larger matters
  • Interest in long-term growth and hands-on involvement in case strategy and trial
